Want to secure your financial future with a better plan? Contact Plan B today!

We are a vertically-integrated and fiduciary-certified wealth management business operating in Australia and New Zealand.

Founded in 1986, we have grown significantly from our Perth origins, acquiring a presence in six locations in New Zealand and forming alliances on the east coast of Australia since 2005. Our core wealth management advisory division is now a substantial, Australasian financial advisory business.

We focus on relationships to assist our clients to reach their long-term objectives. That’s why we are one of the leading fee-based financial advisory firms in Australasia.

At the core of our proposition is the notion that wealth managers should only be paid by the client and that there should be no third party profit interests involved in the wealth management process.

We have been leaders in adopting innovations in the financial services industry: offering fee-based advice models, adopting global fiduciary standards, and establishing an integrated wealth management system, whereby we provide investment advice and a full spectrum of wealth protection and wealth transfer activities.

Our integrated approach and relationship focus enable us to provide our clients with optimised benefits and better solutions to help reach their long-term objectives.

Plan B – Strategic Asset Management Journey

In the early 1990’s, several independent international research visits undertaken by the founders of Plan B, Bryan Taylor & Craig Lubich; became aware that scientific research in the field of modern finance gave compelling evidence that the then current investment strategies lacked modern structures, risk controls, cost efficiencies, taxation management and transparency. From this time the importance of Plan B and Strategic Asset Management sharing knowledge, technology and business process efficiencies became apparent. This relationship developed to a point in 2005 where Plan B acquired a 25% shareholding in Strategic Asset Management. In 2006, for many reasons including succession planning and business development, the decision was made to merge the two companies and Plan B acquired 100% of Strategic Asset Management.
